Attend a Night of Cocktails and Performances to Raise Money For a Great Cause

In 2007, Dr. David Alessi and his Scottish-born wife, Deborah Alessi, founded Face Forward International, a Beverly Hills-based organization that provides pro bono physical and emotional assistance for men, women, and children who have been survivors of human trafficking and domestic violence. Over a decade later, the organization continues to offer necessary and vital services to those who need it in the community. Services include covering fees for internal and external care, patient advocacy, veterans’ assistance, and more.

In addition to providing valuable services, Face Forward International also hosts fundraisers and events throughout the year to raise money for the cause. On September 14, the non-profit is hosting its annual charity gala to raise funds for upcoming reconstruction projects. The evening event, which takes place at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons, is oriented around a “Highlands to the Hills” theme inspired by Deborah Alessi’s heritage. Attendees are invited to wear either black tie attire or Scottish-themed apparel.

The annual gala will kick off with cocktails and a red carpet at 6 p.m. Attendees will be able to mingle with other justice-oriented individuals to discuss ways to come together and help solve problems in their community. Afterwards, guests are invited to sit down for a night of live musical performances and special guest appearances. (Robin Thicke was a past performer, although this year’s special guest has yet to be announced.) Guests will also be able to bid on items at the onsite live and silent auctions in order to raise more money.

Over 600 guests are expected to be in attendance, working toward the singular goal of raising money for survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, and other heinous acts of cruelty. Tickets cost $500 for general admission and $700 for VIP admission (which comes with preferred seating, a gift bag, and an invite-only reception).

Companies that are interested in supporting the cause can opt for one of the corporate sponsorship opportunities, which range from advertising space to gift bags to silent and live auctions. Face Forward International’s charity gala is just one of its many justice-oriented events in the Beverly Hills area. The organization also hosts stand-up comedy fundraisers and other events throughout the year.
